All series 1600BC or 1600BFBC closers comply with ANSI A156.4 Grade 1 Specifications. All Norton series 1600BC/1600BFBC closers with non-hold open arms are listed by Underwriters Laboratories for labeled fire doors. These closers are listed by New York City Materials and Equipment Acceptance Division.
